Case Study Factoring Audio Equipment Installer with Credit Card Facility

A medium sized installer of audio equipment approached Cashflow Acceleration to see if we could find them a factoring facility.  The client had previously been financed by their bank who provided a substantial credit card facility. 

However, the credit card facility was not sufficient to support their anticipated continued growth and the only other option, offered by their bank, was to use the director's homes as security in order to obtain a large overdraft.  Additionally, their bank was not prepared to offer a factoring facility due to the fact that they were installers, undertaking installation of the equipment.

Factoring Solution 

We were able to introduce the client to two factors, both of whom were able to offer rates that were far better than those that the business was able to access.  The business was able to generate over 25% more working capital through the factoring facility than they could access via a loan and without the requirement for any security over their personal properties.
