Invoice Discounting can be hard for a small business to find despite the fact that the business often handles its own collections very well and does not want the interference of a factoring company chasing their invoices.

Invoice discounters often have strict requirements about the financial trading performance required to qualify for invoice discounting and there can also be large minimum turnover requirements (often 300K upwards) which can exclude smaller businesses from accessing this type of service.
