How to get factoring for free
|
You've heard us say it many times: the cost of factoring very often pays for itself in cost savings elsewhere. Now you can test this for yourself - we've produced a Factoring Cost Savings Calculator in Excel, showing a working example -
download it here.
All you need to do is to plug in your own figures and you'll see how much you could save.
As in our example, you may find the factoring service can replace your existing in-house credit control function. The second way you could save money is by releasing the cash tied up in unpaid invoices, making it possible for you to pay suppliers more rapidly in exchange for a discount.
Try the Factoring Cost Savings Calculator for yourself and read more about our worked example here.

Phoenix Businesses
|
Many businesses are suffering due to the current economic climate.
In some cases a business can have such high outstanding liabilities that it has no option but to go into receivership. In some cases the core of the business is still viable, it was just the level of debt that was unmanageable. In these cases the owners can sometimes purchase parts of the business from the receiver and continue trading via a new company, called a phoenix business.
Many assume that if their business fails they will not be able to finance the phoenix business - which is not the case. There are sympathetic providers out there who are prepared to help.
Similarly many businesses do not realise that invoice finance can be available in a number of other adverse situations. There is more information about this on our website:
CVA - Creditors Voluntary Arrangement - Raising Finance
IVA - Individuals Voluntary Arrangement - Raising Finance
CCJ - County Court Judgements - Factoring despite judgements
