Short Termination & Trial Periods
The period of notice of termination required by an invoice financier can vary drastically between providers. These can apply to both factoring and invoice discounting. In some cases the period of notice required can be many months or the provider can require that notice be served on particular dates such as the anniversary of the agreement (making it difficult to get out of the arrangement).
We have providers that we deal with that offer short termination periods or trial periods:
- Short Termination Periods - with a short termination period at any point during the entire length of your agreement with the invoice financier, you can give them just 28 days notice and you will be able to leave the arrangement without having to pay any termination fees. This means that you have the flexibility to go elsewhere without being locked into long term agreements.
- Trial Periods - we deal with providers that can offer you free termination without notice at all at any time within the first 6 months of your agreement with them. This means you can try the service and retain the right to exit the agreement at any point within the first 6 months without giving any period of notice and without any termination fee being charged.
If you might benefit from either a shorter notice of termination period or from a 6 month trial period let us know and we will put you in touch with our trusted partners.
